Use every RankLens feature, step by step.
This is the single help page for RankLens. Start with your first audit, then learn client reports, monitoring, RUM, teams, API access and billing when you need them.
1. Create an account and save your recovery code
An account lets RankLens sync clients and paid-plan features across devices.
Choose Account & Dashboard from the menu.
Enter your name, email and a password of at least 10 characters, then complete the security check.
RankLens shows a recovery code after registration. Store it somewhere private; it is used if you need to reset your password.
Your session stays signed in securely until you log out or the session expires.
2. Run your first website audit
Use Single audit for a quick technical and on-page health check of a public website.
Choose Audit Tool in the menu.
This is the default mode.
Type a public URL such as example.com or https://example.com.
Anonymous free audits use Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent automated abuse.
RankLens fetches the public page and builds the report.
3. Understand an audit report
RankLens organizes findings so you can fix the most useful items first.
Use it as a quick health indicator, not as a guarantee of search ranking.
High-impact findings are surfaced before the longer checklist.
These show measured page signals when the required data is available.
Each failed or warning check explains what needs attention.
Copy useful suggestions and adjust them for your actual page and audience before publishing.
4. Use Local Business mode
This mode highlights website-based local trust signals. It does not inspect your Google Business Profile.
Use the mode buttons above the audit URL field.
Run the audit normally.
Use the results as website signals and verify important business information manually.
5. Compare your site with a competitor
VS Competitor runs two audits and places important measured signals side by side.
The feature is locked on Free.
Two URL fields will appear.
Put your site in the first field and the comparison site in the second.
RankLens highlights the stronger measured result for each comparison row.
Use the buttons under the comparison report.
6. Create a prospect report with Pitch Mode
Pitch Mode turns audit findings into a client-facing opportunity report.
Enter the prospect website and optionally the prospect/business name.
RankLens builds a condensed opportunity-focused view.
Use the Pitch Mode message box to explain what you can help fix.
Use white-label branding and Save as PDF for a client-ready document.
7. Add your branding to a report
White-label controls let you present a report using your own agency or company details.
Wait until the report is visible.
The branding panel opens.
Enter agency/company name, website and contact details. A logo is optional.
This uses your agency branding in the exported report.
Brand settings and the optional logo are stored in that browser; the logo is not uploaded to RankLens.
Use the report’s Save as PDF button when the branding looks correct.
8. Save and reopen client websites
Signed-in workspaces keep a cloud-synced client roster. Plan limits determine how many sites you can save.
Find the Client roster section.
Use a clear label such as the business or project name.
The site is added to your workspace.
RankLens opens the Audit Tool with that website ready to audit.
9. Crawl multiple pages
After a main-page audit, you can sample more pages from the same site.
The crawl action appears in the report actions.
RankLens discovers and checks a bounded sample of internal pages.
Use them to spot repeated titles, metadata problems and technical patterns across the sample.
10. Check broken links
The link checker tests a bounded set of links from the audited page.
Then find “Check broken links” in the report actions.
RankLens tests the link targets it is allowed to inspect.
Verify important links manually before changing production content.
12. Add uptime monitoring
Monitoring checks a saved website on a schedule and tracks status in your workspace.
Scroll to “Uptime + scheduled PSI + RUM”.
Add an optional label so you can identify it quickly.
The site appears in your monitor list and the plan’s monitor limit is applied.
The dashboard shows the latest available status, score and RUM usage information.
13. Install Real User Monitoring (RUM)
RUM collects sampled browser performance measurements from real visits according to your plan allowance.
RUM code is generated for monitored sites.
The embed box opens.
Copy the exact snippet RankLens generates for that site.
Place it in the site template so it loads on the pages you want measured. If you use a CMS, add it through a safe header/template method.
After real visits occur, return to Account and check estimated RUM pageviews and sampling.
14. Add a teammate
Agency and Max workspaces support up to the plan’s seat limit.
An owner/admin can create an invite when a seat is available.
The code is valid for 7 days.
Do not post workspace invite codes publicly.
They use “Join with code” in their Account dashboard.
Owners/admins can remove non-owner team members from the Team list.
15. Create and revoke an API key
Developer API keys are available to Max workspaces and should be treated like passwords.
The form is visible when the workspace has API-key entitlement.
Use a label such as “CRM” or “Internal dashboard”.
Copy it immediately when RankLens displays it.
Do not put API keys in public browser JavaScript, screenshots, public repositories or support messages.
Use Revoke in the Account dashboard when a key should no longer work.
16. Upgrade, pay and cancel
Paid plans use Razorpay recurring subscriptions. The checkout page tells you the plan and billing interval before payment.
Compare the complete Free, Pro, Agency and Max feature lists.
Then select the plan you want. Founding Pro, when available, is monthly only.
The subscription is attached to the signed-in workspace.
Razorpay handles payment credentials; RankLens verifies the payment before enabling the plan.
The billing panel should show the active plan and current paid period.
After confirmation, cancellation is scheduled and paid access normally continues until the displayed paid-period end.
17. Send feedback or contact Support
Use Feedback for product suggestions and Support when you need help with an account, billing or a technical problem.
Use the green Feedback button at the bottom-left of RankLens. Enter your name, mobile number, country, optional email and message.
Open the Support page, select the topic and describe what happened. You receive a support reference after submission.
If a payment appears captured but your account did not upgrade, contact Support before attempting another payment.
18. Keep your RankLens account safe
A few simple habits prevent most avoidable account problems.
Never send passwords, recovery codes, OTPs, CVVs, UPI PINs or API secrets through Feedback, Support or chat.
Use the official RankLens pages.dev address unless a future official custom domain is announced inside RankLens.
Revoke API keys and remove teammates when they no longer need access.
After upgrading or scheduling cancellation, verify the status shown in Account.
Still stuck?
Send the exact screen or error through Support. Do not include passwords, OTPs, card details or private API secrets.
